Nadia is an empathetic and passionate counselor based in Florida, specializing in treatment of generalized anxiety disorder, life transitions, and anger management. Through her internship, she has also gained experience working with individuals navigating addiction and various personality disorders such as bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and solution-focused therapy to support clients in building treatment goals that align with their specific needs. She is passionate about working with a diverse population and is committed to providing culturally aligned treatment that honors each client’s unique background and experiences.
Nadia holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and is currently working as a registered mental health counseling intern. Since January 2025, she has been practicing with Peace of Mind Mental Health, where she continues to grow her expertise and serve clients with empathy and professionalism. Her approach is rooted in creating a safe and welcoming environment, understanding that seeking therapy can be an intimidating step for many.
Outside the office, Nadia is deeply passionate about connecting with people from all walks of life whether through friends, family, or strangers, and she finds that these meaningful connections beyond the therapy room help strengthen the therapeutic bonds she forms with clients by enhancing her perspective on life and providing a foundation for her to step into her client’s shoes as effectively as possible.
